Like all good things, coffee came into my life when I least expected it. My journey from a non caffeinated human to the founder of an estate-to-cup brand of artisanal coffee was not as straightforward.
Just like coffee, I had my fair share of ‘going through the grind’ before it occurred to me that my family’s legacy can be shared with so many coffee lovers across India. Witnessing the estate as it changed from bloom to sprouting berries and the berries gradually changing colour, I knew I was falling in love. What started as a small venture in the corner of the spare room at home is now out growing that room.

What’s the best way to brew filter kaapi?
The best way? Use a traditional South Indian filter.
Add 2–3 tablespoons of our freshly ground Love, Kaapi filter coffee to the top compartment, press it gently, and pour in hot water. Let it slowly drip — no rush, good kaapi takes its time.
Once you get that strong decoction, mix it with hot milk and just the right amount of sugar. Then, pour it back and forth in a davrah set if you’ve got one — not just for the froth, but for the feel.
